Terms of Service

Last updated 18 October 2026

These terms govern your use of QRzify, operated by QRzify ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. The service

QRzify lets you design QR codes. Static codes are generated in your browser and work without us. Dynamic codes contain a short QRzify link; when someone scans one, we record the scan and send them to the destination you chose.

You can change where a dynamic code sends people (its destination, campaign tags, page content and routing rules) for 7 days after you create it. After that those are fixed. You can still change its name, design, password, expiry date and scan limit, and pause it and turn it back on. To change where a printed code goes after that, make a new code.

2. Your account

You must give a real email address, keep your password safe and confirm your email before creating dynamic codes. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

3. Plans, payments and GST

Paid plans are billed monthly (or yearly where offered) in Indian rupees. Prices on our pricing page exclude GST, which is added at checkout when we are registered for it. You can cancel any time; your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for.

4. Failed payments, the grace period and paused codes

If a renewal fails you get a grace period of 3 days, with email notices. If it is still unpaid, the dynamic codes that plan covered are paused. Anyone scanning a paused code sees a "paused" page. We do not delete paused codes. Paying again restores them, up to your plan's limit. Codes you paused yourself, or that we paused for breaking these terms, are not restored automatically.

5. The beta

QRzify is in beta. While the beta runs, verified accounts can create a limited number of dynamic codes without charge. We will announce paid plans at least 30 days in advance, and beta codes keep working throughout that notice period. Features may change during the beta.

6. Your destination links and tracking tags

You are responsible for the destinations your codes point to. If you add a Google Analytics or Tag Manager ID, we fire that tag when your codes are scanned, and you are the data controller for the information it collects. You must have a lawful basis, and a privacy notice where required, for that collection. We process scan data on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Landing pages, pixels, the API and your team

If you host a landing page with us, you are responsible for everything on it: the text, files and links, and your right to use them. If you add a Meta, Google Ads, TikTok or LinkedIn pixel, you are the data controller for what it collects and must have a lawful basis and any notice or consent the law requires. If you use the API or webhooks, you are responsible for keeping your keys and signing secrets safe, for what your tools do with them, and for staying within the rate limits; you must make sure the address you give for a webhook is yours to use. If you invite team members, they act under your account: you are responsible for what they do in it, for choosing their role, and for removing them when they should no longer have access.

8. Acceptable use

You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may pause or remove a code, or suspend an account, that breaks it, and we may check destination links against safe-browsing services.

9. UPI and payment codes

The UPI QR type only encodes a payment link that opens the customer's UPI app. We do not process, hold or route payments. QRzify is not affiliated with NPCI, BHIM or any UPI app.

10. Availability and liability

We work hard to keep short links fast and available, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost sales.

11. Ending your account

You can delete your account in Settings at any time. Your dynamic codes will then stop resolving. We keep payment records as the law requires. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will tell you about material changes by email. Questions or complaints: see our Contact and Grievance page. Governing law is the law of India.
