Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 18 October 2026

QR codes are easy to misuse, so we are strict. You may not use QRzify to create a code that points to, or helps with:

  • Phishing or scams: pages that try to steal passwords, card details, UPI PINs or OTPs, or that trick people into paying.
  • Malware or anything that harms a visitor's device.
  • Illegal content under Indian law, including content that exploits children or promotes violence.
  • Impersonation of a person, brand, bank or government body.
  • Misleading landing pages: a page hosted on QRzify that copies a bank, wallet, delivery or government page, asks for passwords, card details, UPI PINs or OTPs, or pretends to be another business, is phishing and impersonation however it is made.
  • Spam or deceptive redirects, or hiding the real destination to evade review.

Landing pages, pixels and the API

The same rules apply to pages we host for you, to files you upload, to tags you add and to anything you do through the API or a webhook. We may remove a page or file, or switch off a key or webhook, that breaks this policy.

How we enforce it

We check destination links against safe-browsing services when you create or edit a code. We may pause any code, or suspend an account, that breaks this policy, without notice where there is a risk to others. Codes paused for abuse are not restored automatically.

Report a code

If a scan took you somewhere harmful, use the Report this code link on the paused page, or if the code still redirects, email support@mail.viralish.in with the short link (it starts with the QRzify code address). We review reports quickly and pause codes straight away when needed.
